On Friday 5th & Saturday 6th July, I dipped at Trecco Bay holiday park in Wales for the resident band, City Limits.
This was my bread and butter gig before The Searchers but sadly Trecco Bay has the only resident band left in the UK!
This really is a sad state of affairs.
Pierto their drummer was doing front of house sound on a touring show, so over the last few weeks had deppped this gig out to various drummers.
The band play 6 nights a week, 2 sets and on Saturday back the 'Troupers' on their Rock show.
The Rock show has a great selection of songs. Jump, Mr Brightside, We Will Rock You, Living On A Prayer, Teenage Kicks, One Way or Another, Place Your Hands, Sex on Fire, Don't Stop Believing and Don't Look Back In Anger.
With dancers and singers covering the stage.
I managed to get use to staying in a caravan again, being bored during the day and eating what ever you could on site.
In fairness to Trecco Bay, they do have a good selection of shops and a pub that serves breakfast at £3.95!
Pierdo has a few more shows he needs to do later in the year, so I may end up back at Trecco...
