I have been lucky enough to have been asked to officiate on Football Aid for the last 4 years.
My first game was 4 years ago on what was one of the last games to be played at Upton Park.
For the last 3 years, I have been sent to Q.P.R and Loftus Road.
The players pay a lot of money to play these games and they will play with a few legends from the club.
The officials (4) all have 24.5 minutes to be the referee, assistant (x2) and 4th official
This year, 2 of the 3 other officials were young Q.P.R fans, so myself and the other official decided these 2 could officiate 1 half each, with myself running the line and the other official (who was also officiating later that evening) being 4th official.
It was a cracking game and everyone had a great day and I'm sure a lot of money was raised for Football Aid.
